Rhythm

In classical music, the third movement of a piece is meant to be dance-like and Eine kleine Nachtmusik’s third movement certainly emulates that. The movement is in ¾ time, a waltz-like tempo which engages the audience and is played allegretto which means moderately fast. The Agbekor song 1 has a very different rhythm that “moves in the three-then-two groove”.
